Greetings, Citizen Automators! Today, we are pleased to announce that we have added even more functionality and flexibility to the Tray Platform. Our enterprise customers now have the ability to integrate the Tray Platform into their technology stack with Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML) Single Sign-on (SSO).

SSO is the latest in a long line of features our product team has been building to deliver a true enterprise platform to our customers. Features like Tray for Teams, Tray Analytics, and Sharing Workflows focused on improving enterprise functionality for teams to collaborate more closely and get more visibility into their workflow status within the Tray Platform. And SSO helps Tray Platform users be even more productive by expediting the login process and improving security.

Specifically, users no longer have to keep track of their login credentials when using the Tray Platform. By integrating the Tray Platform into their Enterprise technology stack, users can quickly and easily access their workflows without having to hunt for passwords or re-authenticating. This provides our Enterprise customers better security and improved ease of use when logging into the Tray Platform.

(SAML SSO works by transferring the user’s identity from the identity provider to the service provider through a secure token. One example of SAML SSO is using your Google credentials to access tools like Salesforce.)

Enterprise users can work directly with our engineering team to configure SSO within your environment to make sure it is set up exactly how you need it. Once SSO is configured, users can simply log directly into the Tray Platform via SSO, with all the security, transparency, compliance, and resilience of any Enterprise-class application.

Contact your Tray.io account manager to get started on SSO.
