Self-serve API Tokens

We are pleased to announce the introduction of API tokens at the org and workspace level, empowering our users with enhanced control, security, and flexibility when accessing Tray's public APIs. With this update, customers can now create API tokens within their workspace, enabling seamless integration and automation of workflows.

Key Features:

1. Workspace-Level API Tokens:

   • Customers can now generate API tokens at the workspace level, granting access to Tray's public APIs both now and in the future.

   • API tokens ensure secure access to Tray's functionalities while adhering to governance principles.

2. Secure and Controlled Access:

   • Org admins maintain full control over token creation, ensuring governance and security.

   • Tokens are attached to the API user and admins can apply the roles and permissions on the API user, enhancing security measures.

3. Streamlined Development Lifecycle:

   • API tokens enable customers to seamlessly integrate Tray Platform into their development lifecycle processes.

   • Users can create API users, assign them to workspaces and roles, and generate tokens for streamlined access.

4. Administrative Capabilities:

   • Workspace admins, if enabled by the org admin, can also create tokens, providing flexibility and decentralization in token management.

5. Audit Logging:

   • Audit logging functionality tracks API user actions such as workflow views and log views, ensuring transparency and accountability. It's available via log streaming
