TextMagic is a bulk SMS marketing service provider.


TextMagic is an all-in-one text messaging service that allows SMBs to connect with their customers via two-way SMS, online texts, gateway SMS via email, SMS software for desktop, and SMS distribution lists, globally.


When using the TextMagic connector, the first thing you will have to do is click on 'New Authentication' in the step editor:


Ensure you correctly enter your TextMagic username and API key (this can be obtained from TextMagic) correctly otherwise operations will not be able to be run correctly.

  1. Create a new workflow with a Manual Trigger and add a TextMagic connector.


  1. Select the List contacts operation:


  1. Click Run Workflow. Then select the Debug tab and you should be able to see a successful run of the workflow to click on and view the successful output of the workflow run:


  1. Let's try to update a specific contact. For example, we want to change the contact's name. Add another step from the TextMagic connector and select the Update contact operation. Set the ID to the ID of one of the contacts by using a JsonPath as shown in the example:


  1. Change contact's name in corresponding field and be sure to specify a list for the contact to be assigned to as well as a phone number for the contact (as these are required fields).

  2. Click Run Workflow, select the Debug tab and you should be able to see the successful output with the ID of contact that has been successfully updated.
