Sparkcentral by HootsuiteA platform that enables digital conversations during the customer journey.
Sparkcentral by Hootsuite provides a future proof customer care platform to enable digital conversations and connections for a seamless customer journey.
Within the workflow builder, highlight the Sparkcentral connector.
In the Sparkcentral connector properties panel to the right of the builder, click on the Authenticate tab and the 'New authentication' button. This will result in a Tray.io authentication pop-up modal.
This will result in a Tray.io authentication pop-up modal. The first page will ask you to name your authentication and select the type of authentication you wish to create ('Personal' or 'Organisational').
The next page asks you for your 'Signing secret' credentials.
In order to get this field, head to your Sparkcentral by Hootsuite Settings menu. Click on the 'Intergration & APIs section', then select 'CRM'.
Copy the 'Shared Secret' and paste it into the 'Signing secret' field of the authentication pop-up.
Once you have added this field to your Tray.io authentication pop-up window, click on the 'Create authentication' button.
Go back to your settings authentication field (within the workflow builder properties panel), and select the recently added authentication from the dropdown options now available.
Your connector authentication setup should now be complete.
Sparkcentral by Hootsuite Trigger
If you wish your workflow to be kicked off by a particular action in Sparkcentral, you can use the Sparkcentral by Hootsuite trigger.
The Sparkcentral trigger allows you to receive notifications and trigger workflows when given events occur associated with the selected trigger operation.
Instead of using a connector, choose Sparkcentral by Hootsuite as your trigger at the 'Create new workflow' section and wait to be redirected to your new workflow.
Trigger Operations available:
Select the Sparkcentral by Hootsuite trigger. You can do this either at the create new workflow stage or updated within the workflow builder itself.
Follow the Authentication instructions above to authenticate your trigger, and select 'Webhook' as the event you want your trigger to listen to (aka the operation), to set off the workflow itself:
To trigger the workflow you have to manually add and setup the webhook, by adding the workflow's public URL into the 'Lookup URL' field in the CRM section in Settings of your Sparkcentral by Hootsuite account.
Before you copy the workflow's public URL, make sure to enable the workflow by clicking on the green 'Enable' button in the bottom right corner of the builder.
Then on your Tray.io builder, click on the horizontal hamburger icon available in the top left corner of the builder's screen. Navigate to Workflow settings > General settings.
You can find the 'Workflow public URL' on the 'Workflow settings' page.
Copy and paste this URL into the 'Lookup URL' field on Sparkcentral's 'CRM' page.
If you have assigned any of the contact fields to use Lookup Attribute, clicking the Lookup button in the Sparkcentral by Hootsuite account will kick off the trigger.
